Gastric Bypass Open Surgery was at 2:30pm yesterday I was out by 4:30pm and fully awake by 6:30 pm. Working on ice chips. Very sleepy and not easy to take deep breaths but otherwise feeling great. My brother is doing well as well.

I'm July 27th. I could have scheduled an earlier July date, but I'll be out of town. The surgeon has been so accommodating, they're fitting me into earlier tests and final class so I don't have to delay any longer than I already have

Third day post op waiting to be discharged! ! Feeling ok, no pain meds today. Trying to get all my fluids in which at some points can be a challenge. My taste buds are just not agree with some of these protein shakes.

Is a 3 day hospital stay normal for your surgeon? The norm here (Utah) is overnight.

For gastric bypass its two overnights. Surgery was tuesday discharged today
