Anyone already approved and has a July date? I am excited, nervous, and a world of other emotions! Anyone else in here with July dates already?

Good morning

Can anyone tell me what happen after I go to my last nutrition visit...

Is that's the day people normally get there instruction about their pre op diet?

Will I be seen by the surgeon in order to get information about diet?

Do people normally get their surgery date from their surgeon? Before or after they have been approved ??

The reason why I am asking... I have completed everything off the check list ...I have my last nutrition visit with the nutritionist on the 5th...

@@donham83 I'm also havibg my Gastric bypass on the 5th!! I can't believe its 2 days away :-D

I'm pretty nervous :o

I don't think so much about the surgery itself. I think its more pf the healing and the unknown after that worries me. keep in touch on your healing ;-)

@D'Sleeved

I had to schedule a reassessment with the surgeon for the paperwork to get sent to the insurance company after the last dietitian appointment. I'm in Texas and each state, let alone insurance company and surgeon's office, functions differently. I'd call the office receptionist/office manager and ask what their policy is once you feel as if you've fulfilled all requirements.

Thanks for, the information... I am hopping the guild lines are similar. from state to state lol. I had contacted Western bariatric clinical receptionist; last week to make sure they had received all of my documents that were required... From there todo list. I am ready to move on to the next phase.

Thank you!

I'm July 5th too and the sister Cubano is talking about. I'd be up for an even more private group If anyone is interested... Maybe for July 5th surgeries? I'm thinking of doing it via GroupMe app so we could all just text each other? Especially tomorrow!

I'm one of the few that's not really nervous. Just want to get it over with. And thankful that we didn't have the two week liquid diet that some of you have.
