Approved for June 6

Anyone else having surgery around this date? I am beyond excited and nervous at the same time. It took 6 months but my insurance finally approved it. Anyone from Las Vegas here?

I haven't told a lot of people about my surgery just work and my close family. How about you do you have a lot of support?

I am having the sleeve as well my surgeon is Dr Hanna. Who's your doctor? Did you already start your pre-op diet. I find the details tomorrow so I've been on edge all day today. I'm

It's no biggie but they didn't give me a preop and I'm surprised about that coz I was 277 and 5'5". My surgeon was Dr. Atkinson. Weight loss center. Had my surgery at Desert Inn hospital on the 5th of this month. I followed orders the first two weeks but I don't follow to a t anymore. That's bad. I still get all my Protein in but I had pain popcorn (not supposed to) and I had alcohol one night (not supposed to). Other than that, it's going great. When I first woke up, I immediately regretted it but now I am so glad I did it. I went back to work 3 days after.

Wow congrats! You are doing good. I am taking two weeks off because I'm not sure how I will handle all the pain and I work in an office sitting all day might make it even more painful. I think my surgery is at sunrise but I'll find out more details tomorrow.

Hey Ana, how did it go? I started my liquid pre-op today. I haven't really felt hungry. My husband and family are very supportive. I have been debating this for about 2 1/2 yrs so, it's not new to them. I hope you are doing great.

Hi! I found it that all I have to do is just meal replacements with one small meal until 3 days before surgery and then it's all clear liquids till the day of surgery. I'm doing ok feeling a little hungry but it's not that bad since I can still eat a small healthy meal. I think it's more mental than physical for me.

I forgot to mention I've been also debating this for the past 2 years so my family is very supportive but not many of my friends know about it just close ones.
