I take a few meds, blood pressure, depression... We're there any meds you were told not to take after surgery? I'm really just concerned about my celexA, I've ended up in the hospital after running out, I'd be ok with crushing it, I'm just curious if there meds that your surgeon said not to take... Thanks!

My surgeon referred me to my primary care physician to make any adjustments related to non-surgery related meds. You should check in with your regular doctor about dosage or other questions. It's important to be sure that the meds you are on are okay to be crushed or split if needed. For instance, you can't crush extended release versions of medications.

I only had to stop my pain medication for a chronic condition until after surgery. My surgeon consulted with my PCP. I agree with @@Freckles70, ask your PCP what to do with your current medication. Best wishes to you during the WLS journey!
