@@ChooChi73 - I am 1yr 2 weeks post and started out at 261 for SW - I am currently 175.

Hold on kiddo, its gonna be a ride!

Relax, and breathe - your team will take excellent care of you. I was scared/nervous/excited too.

Before you know it you will be in post-op and walking down the halls.

I have your seat saved on the losers bench so don't worry no one will take it

Keep us posted, as soon as you can, that your are strolling the halls, ok???

I am very excited to be on the "losers" bench with you. Everything went well. Just took my first walk was about an hour ago. Pain hasn't been too bad, a little gas discomfort and nausea, but again, not too bad. I am excited to take this journey and live a healthier happier life. I've been very sleepy, but that's to be expected. Lol

Day 2 Post Op. I came home yesterday at around 7 pm. Today has been good. I don't need the oxycodone, Just been using regular Tylenol for pain every 6-8 hours. I'm trying to stay on top of liquids, but I get very crampy when I drink. My surgical office only wants me on Clear Liquids for the first 5 post op, not even any Protein shakes. I am so excited to see where this journey takes me. One step at a time, walking , sipping lol.

Congratulations! You have started the journey of a new healthier life. Take time to heal and enjoy the ride! Keep well!

@@ChooChi73 Congrats! Try sipping fluids at different temps to see if they're easier. Many people need warm fluids.

Yes, I do better with room temperature or hot. So far my hot broth settles the best.

one step at a time, one sip at a time, one pound at a time.

That losers bench is a lovely place to be!

If you recent sleevers are anything like me you will be walking around looking like complete idiots due to the permanent smile plastered on your faces soon, due to the pounds departing your frames.

I'm 8 months out and LOVING my journey.

Stick to what you are told to do, stay close to this site, and you won't go too far wrong.
