8 weeks post op

I've been doing a lot of cardio and lost on how many calories I should be eating daily? I'm very lost!

Example today

1200 goal

But ate around 1800 calories

But 1hr on elliptical and 7 miles on Fitbit app plus 1 hr of bowling?

Sounds like a good question for your nutritionist.

I agree. Your NUT would be the person to ask.

My primary focus is Protein and fluids. If you are getting in all of your protein and fluids, then you should be fine. You may need some extra carbs above that for your exercise intensity so that is where your NUT will have the expertise to help.

I the meantime, focus on getting in all of your protein and AT LEAST 64 oz of Fluid (more if you are exercising a lot), taking your Vitamins and supplements as directed, and avoiding added sugars, starches, and fried food.

Definitely get in touch with your RD regarding calories. With exercise, your Fluid intake should be more than 64 oz. With cardio you lose fat, but you need weightlifting to build muscle to tone and shrink the skin. Also after exercise, plan a Protein rich meal so you don't lose lean muscle.
