call your surgeon's office if you have any concerns. The pain in your side is most likely gas from surgery, it can take a while to go away

as for the incision...is it red and warm to the touch? It is possible to get an infection at the incision site.

May 11th here. I also only have pain standing up and sitting down and coughing. I am also sleeping sitting up, laying down is pretty painful. This is the only time i have pain. I have not had 1 drop of pain medication since i left the hospital.
