Pre Op Diet

My doctors office is pushing the Bariatric Advantage products for my 2 week pre op diet ..do you have any recommended websites I could view for alternative? Those products are so expensive. I'm thinking I can do ketogenic (sp) without those specific products.

My surgeons office tried to push those on me too. Ask your dr what the requirements from that brand they're looking for like cals per day, Protein per day, and how often they want you having shakes. I substituted premier Protein Shakes 3-4x per day and did broth and sugar free Popsicles. I lost weight and didn't have any problems in surgery and no complaints from my dr.
