    Hi.I just got lap band over gastric bypass. 4 days ago.i am on stage 1 .but fortunately I haven't feeling hungry yet.i hope you doing well. My son went to the store and bought me Cristal lights. Different styles flavor.he filled 2 ice trays with Jello.also I am having some decaffeinated tea.so far I had have lost 7 pounds. Very happy about it.i know this phase is no easy.but I feel great.i hope you doing as well and losing weight. Many Blessings and good luck with your journey.

    I feel the same way but I decided to use the time to learn everything I can and also to work on emotional eating issues. My NUT and Psych think 6 months is too long too so they're going to look at cutting a month or two (based on records from my PCP). Good luck at your appointment! Ask questions and write things down.

    Try 9 mos... the struggle was real, but during that time I got inform, read books on gastric sleeve, the diet part, getting your mind right on why we eat the way we do, trying to learn to like exercise... so take this time and USE it constructively... it's so worth the "weight"...

    Rhode Island. I wish I knew there was a 6 month requirement.. I would have started months ago.

    Well that's here in pa I know Nj is 3months....I wish I could do 3months instead of 6
