Chest Pain

I woke today with what feels like a knife in my chest. I am on puréed diet and 18 days out. I will call first thing tomorrow to talk with my doc. Just wondering if anyone experienced this.

I hope everything is okay! Hopefully it was just heartburn or reflux. Please let us know what your doctor says.

Please let us know how you're doing. Anytime you have chest pain this bad - please don't wait to call the Dr - get to an ER immediately (don't drive yourself)...call 911! Better safe than sorry!

I woke this morning to no pain. Oddly I think it might be related to my CPAP machine for sleeping. I didn't use it last night and kept belching all night. The pain must have been stuck gas. I put my sleep mask on this morning and with in 15 min I felt pressure again. It seems weird but I think it's pushing gas into my chest/stomach.

Do you have the nasal mask or full nasal/mouth mask? Maybe you are sleeping with your mouth open and swallowing more air? Try taking a gas x before bed and sleep with your upper body elevated some. I don't know if you'd need a CPAP pressure adjustment already but it's certainly possible. Glad you're better - you had me worried! Pain like that can be a pulmonary embolism.
