I was just going to post a response to someone who was craving salty foods to try pickle juice. At Walmart, I bought these sport stick Popsicle things which was just pickle juice. You can freeze them for a savory fix or drink some small amounts. I know it is high in sodium so you can't do it often but man it was something that really helped me early post-op (helped with fluids and helped move other things alone if you catch my drift... ????).

@KristinLe - I don't remember exactly as I seemed to have happened up on them. I think they were near the sports drinks. Either that or on the coffee aisle (I recall finding them I think when I was looking for the sugar free flavored syrups to add to my shakes). The brand was Bob's. I'll see if I can find a link.
