Cpap questions

So I've had the cpap less then 1 week, and 2 days after using it started to get a sore throat, the sore throat then turned into coughing a lot, and coughing is now a runny nose. I now have all three of those things and feel so blah! I am unsure if it is from the machine or if I am sick! I was fine the day I got the machine and this just started happening!

If it is the machine is think it is, if you push the button on the front of the machine you it should take you to a menu with the settings you as the patient are allowed to change. Humidity should be on that screen. You can't change the pressure set by the doctor from that screen. There is a clinical screen that you can't get into. So don't worry about changing the pressure. You can't!

My CPAP machine has a manual knob to adjust the humidity level, does yours? If it doesn't there should be a setting in the patient menu to adjust that.

The patient menu will allow you to adjust for things like altitude, ramp rate, etc., which is what you are allowed to adjust (if necessary); this is not the same as the clinical menu where the pressure is set.

There are two buttons, one on top and one on the front. It does tell you hours and mask seal and somethjng else with smileys. I'll have to call them and ask what is up!
