Pre-op weight loss?

Hi I'm new to this as well, did anyone have to lose a certain amount of weight before they had their surgery?

It will all depend on your insurance together with the bariatric team that you have chosen.

My surgeon is requiring that I lose at least 5% of my body weight. I think it doesn't just depend on your surgeon but your weight as well.
