I have a friend with no e-mail thinking of Lap Band. Would appreciate VERY MUCH any copmments pro/con and possible direct contacts regarding experiences--even if just "good" "bad" "don't do it" "it's not easy" or whatever. Thank you very much

My only advice is that they need to understand that this is a tool and that you need to work with it. It doesn't 'fix' the problem. Other than that I say good luck to your friend in whatever they choose to do.
