Liquid diet begins....

With my surgery date of April 11, I am officially in the middle of day 2 of the liquid diet. I have two weeks for this... And am feeling like I may kill someone before then. I am so hungry, and apparently everyone in my home feels like they need to eat real food. So prepping meals that I won't be able to eat is awful. Thankfully my husband is taking care of most of this stuff. When does the starving feeling go away?!?

Well it's done! I'm laying in my hospital bed as I type with a new pouch. Haha I have been really really shocked at how smooth my recovery is going. I've been up walking since just hours after the procedure. My comfort level is high, and my spirit is too! I did have an internal reaction to one of the medicines they administered during the procedure, and am now on insulin. Strange to me because I'm not a diabetic. Having my finger pricked every hour all day and night isn't really awesome but eh. It's fine.

I hope all of my April 11ers are doing well and feeling good!!

Everything went smooth for me today as well. Recovery time was smooth sailing and I was also up and walking shortly after sx. Nausea and gas pains have been the hardest thing to work through.

Good luck to all those going in this week! ❤️

Just got to the hospital. Nervous.

Nervous is normal! Hopefully they've given you something to calm you down by now, and you'll soon be on the other side!! Congrats!!

Man I'm glad you guys had a smooth time. I woke up screaming. Slept the last 2 days away. Woke up about 7:30 last night feeling some what normal. I'm getting dilaudid every two houses and a nausea med every four. Praying today is a better day.
