    Hi everyone! I'm fairly new to this app and it's my first post. I started this journey in January 2016 and finished my last requirement on Thursday. My surgeons office called me on Friday with a surgery date of May 9th and start pre-op diet on April 25th. I was set on having the sleeve, but my surgeon explained to me that due to my severe acid reflux (GERD), he doesn't recommend it. He suggested the RNY. I've researched it and decided to have the RNY. I'm super excited to start this journey, on becoming healthier! Anyone else having the surgery on or around this date? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
