7 weeks post op today!

Hello! I'm going strong and working hard at this thing called weight loss and i have to say that it has been both rewarding and discouraging at times. I love seeing the numbers go down, however, every time that stall happens it shakes me into reality and how this IS only a tool for successful weight loss. I have been working out a minimum of 4 days a week the last 3 weeks, and i can tell it helps considerably! Just wanted to let everyone know at this stage that it is worth it and that you will make progress, so DON"T GIVE UP! By the way, i have lost 40lbs. It feels great!

I have found eating "good" carbs are the way to go, if i am going to eat them. I mostly make protein meals and snacks, but those veggies and fruit with (natural sugar) is the better way to go. My tastes have changed in that i can't have much of anything sweet ESPECIALLY artificial sweetener. It is terrible and nauseating. I am so excited to see what the next few months bring!! :)
