Kidney infection 3.5 weeks after surgery

So went to the ER last night, and found I have a kidney infection. Luckily I caught it right when it spread to the kidney from the bladder so no serious damage. I got CAT scan and they said there is no leak in my stomach so that's not what caused it. Just a weakened immune system from the surgery.

Just when I was starting to feel better :(

yuck!

Did the ER folks tell you to drink more?

I have gotten one after every surgery I've had, from having a catheter

Shouldn't happen.

What is going on in our hospitals these days? What happen to "sterile technique"?

So sorry.

Feel better, my friend.

Thank you guys. They didn't mention anything about drinking more but I think it would be a wise choice for me to just to cleanse things out.
