So I'm getting prepared for my surgery on April 6. It occurred to me that I've had surgeries and never have had hair loss... I've had extreme weight-loss in terms of dieting and never have experienced hair loss so I'm starting to think that what causes the hair loss with the sleeve and the different gastric surgeries or as people calling on this forum capital W L S… Is the dehydration. It seems pretty consistent in the beginning that most people can't get enough Water. Does anyone else see this type of correlation? I'm trying to think of anything I can in terms of getting the odds on my side regarding hair loss. I just recovered over the last few years from a Hashimoto's diagnosis. Never truly a recovery however learning to live with it and work with it has been what I'm calling a recovery. This is a thyroid disease so my hair is already pretty thin and barely starting to come back. Anyhow I would like the thoughts and opinions of those of you out there who felt that they stayed really hydrated very very well and still had hair loss and for those of you who think that that can indeed see correlation that you've experienced
