I am officially scheduled for my RNY on 4/4/16! And and EGD on 3/16! I can't believe it is finally scheduled!

I found out my paperwork was sent off to insurance last week... now it's a waiting game for them to do the final approval, and then I should hear from the Doc office to schedule my pre-op/ 10day diet plan...

Congrats! :) Now, is it normal for them to request a ECD or it's just something that the insurance want in addition to?

My surgeon wants it in advance so there are no surprises and to test for h Pylori so it can be treated prior to surgery
