is almost time....

hello all, i just join this site today. i already went through all my steps pre op before my lap band, kind of excited and scare about it, since i never thought i will had ever will get this type of surgery in my life , but..... i need it and want it. now i can't wait for results. i don't know what to expect after , all this drinking liquids getting me bored ,lol but i have lost 12lbs so far -from 256 now 244 just on liquid diet pre op before surgery . my main concern is when i go on vacation how will my eating and drinking will be handle? I'm alert that my i will be eating less and drinking less , but i don't mind , as long as my mind tells me that i already buzz and full. after how long do i have to wait until i will eat real food not just liquid or puree food?

Have you looked at the gastric sleeve? I wanted the band at first but my doctor convinced me to go with the sleeve. Just wanted to bring it up in case your doctor didn't go over the difference in the results between the two types of surgery.

@@PayItForward thanks for your reply, yes I thought about it but I really didn't want a fast dramatic weight loss in my life, that's why I didn't go for it . but sometimes I do think about it tho
