I am scheduled for surgery 5/3/16 and was hoping to find some other people scheduled in April or May to keep in touch with for mutual support.

Well I just received the call that my surgery is scheduled May 3rd. This has been such a long, back and forth road for me. I am excited, but starting to have my doubts. Just typing about it is making me quiver. My anxiety is reaching an all time high. I can't believe I feel so weak. Kind of disappointed with myself. Sorry for being all over the place with this post. I don't have anyone else to talk to about this but my husband. And while he's supportive, I'm sure he is irritated with this WLS topic. Well thanks for letting me vent and I dont expect anyone to care or even respond. Just figured getting it out of my system would help.

Just got the news....I have one more nut class and then everything gets submitted to insurance, but there's a 95% chance my surgery is May 16. *squee* Just got real, folks!

Pretty much the same I am just beyond ready to start my new life, y'know? I did freak myself out a bit watching VSG surgery videos on youtube, yowch. But I'm good to go. Let's do this thing!

I am actually going April 20th to get my surgery date.. very nervous at this point but super excited

I finished my preop today! I'm scheduled to be at the Ruston LA hospital at 6a tomorrow!!!! I'm nervous, anxious, excited, and terrified all at the same time!!!

Hi all, I'm new to this forum but having read the posts I can see that you're all wonderful and a great support network for one another. I'm from the UK, and unfortunately haven't been able to find a forum like this in the UK, so hope you don't mind me joining in?! I'm due for a sleeve on 1st May, so I'm currently doing my 2 weeks pre-op diet... Best of luck to everyone with their upcoming surgeries. Xx

I'm new to this forum and a bit nervous. I'm set for surgery the 29th of April I've done my cardiac clearance sleep study and all I need is my labs and physician clearance. This will a surgery to remove my lap band and he will be doing the sleeve. I got the band in 2011 and lost 100 lbs but after having a baby, it's just not working anymore. Good luck to everykne

May 2nd for me, I start the liquid diet April 18th. Feeling calm about it right now.

I'm only a few days ahead of you on April 29th
