Anyone having problems with water - post op

I am 4 days post op and am having a terrible time with Water, tea, coffee, etc. it all tastes "thick" to me and it is so hard to drink very much. Almost like Jello when it begins to thicken.

I am open to any suggestions - I know i have to get my fluids in.

Other than that I feel pretty good - feel tired a lot and have lots of bloating.

:help: Thanks in advance!

Warm things seem to go down a lot easier for me I was banded about 8 days ago. They have sugar free hot chocolate! Other then that, crystal light, popsicles, jello, broth etc. I never drank plain water didnt sound very good to me for some reason.

i remember how i felt right after i was banded, i didn't have any problems getting down liquids, but around the 3rd day i felt a hunger that i had never felt in my life and i felt so weak. but keep hydrated and try sipping . take it easy and it'll get better.:sick
