Why is it so hard to down water?!

At 6 months post-op, it's hard for me to get liquids in be it fast or slow. I use a straw, and that helps tremendously! Hope this helps you. Good luck!

I started using a straw occasionally at around 4 months, but you have to be careful because you can suck in air and that really hurts. I agree with the temperature of the liquid making a big differenc

I use to drink almost a gallon of water a day but now it's hard for me to down it and especially quickly, if I do it gets stuck in my chest wall or something lol.
But seriously this is annoying and does it ever get easier to drink continuously.
I'm four months out by the way and wine seems to go down smoother.
