You might still have cravings if they are mental. There are lots of low carb options to solve your cravings. Protein shakes come in a lot of flavors.

You might find that you don't have them at all. Surgery kind of detaches you from food.

I haven't had a period since VSG surgery 12/08/15. It is definitely all crazy, I'm assuming because of all the hormone fluctuations as it is usually pretty regular. I do think it's coming any day though because I am eating a bit more than normal(since surgery). I am curious about this as well...following.

I had my first post-op period recently. I did have cravings, but they were muted. I didn't eat anything off my plan, and the cravings faded quickly.
