Is it something that happens periodically or all the time? I know my heart rate would increase significantly after I ate carbs or sugars, I would breathe faster and get hot and flushed, however after about 20-30 minutes it went back to normal. If your HR is over 100bpm on a constant basis, def let your doctor know.

Go see your doctor. You might be feeling anxious. It happens to me, especially now that I can't eat my anxiety away.

Yes I experienced the same thing like the 2nd day after surgery and had to stay an additional day for it to drop. As well as the first week afterwards. It's normal it's just your body adjusting after surgery(a possible side affect). I did follow-up with an cardiologist which confirmed the same thing.
