Nausea

Hey everyone. I'm 2 weeks post op. Doing my best to get my protein in just started my purée stage yesterday. My question is , how did you have nausea for post op? My nausea was horrible in the beginning and some days I'm good w no nausea and then there are days I have to go back to my zofran bc my nausea is so bad. I haven't vomited but the nausea is just getting annoying. Appreciate any insight

I'm 2 weeks as well! No nausea though, but just wanted to say hi!

Hey there !! Hope you are doing well!!

I am 4 days post op and having the same issue with the nausea. I just started taking Zofran today, and that helped a lot. Was able to get a whole Protein shake in today. Still way under what I need to be at, but everyday seems to be better than the last. Hoping will get to the point that I don't need the meds anymore. I don't vomit either, just hate that feeling. Couldn't imagine having to deal with that forever. Hope you get better as the days go on.

Hello,

I am 5 months out and had horrible nausea and vomiting. Still not completely over it, but it's much better. Had several test ran and my doctor said that it just takes some people longer. Best advise it take small bites and eat VERY VERY slowly. I'm still working on that part.

Good luck!

Alicia
