My wife made some turkey for Thanksgiving and because we have both had the sleeve, we had plenty of leftovers.
Now I've been trying to find ways to get my Protein and been very bored with chicken, fish, and turkey.
My wife decided to make a pot pie with the leftover turkey and threw some things together and it was delicious. It made 3 days worth of meals and I loved every one of those meals.
I decided today to try it without pie crust to see if it would be as good. It is fantastic so thought I'd share and see what you thought.
It takes about 6 minutes to put it all together and will last a few days.
Ingredients:
10 oz can of turkey (or same size chicken if you prefer)
10 oz bag of steamable frozen mixed vegetables (I use the Birdseye)
1 can of cream of chicken Soup
1 cup of shredded cheese
Put the mixed vegetables in the microwave to steam according to package instructions
Drain the canned turkey and mix with all the other ingredients in a bowl, mix well
Add the mixed vegetables after they complete microwaving and have set the suggested 1 minute.
Mix again
Take a portion to heat in microwave and refrigerate the rest for more meals.
