From lap and to sleeve

Hello.....my weight loss journey started 5 years ago when I got a lap band. I did really well with the band and lost 90 pounds. I got to within 10 lbs of my goal weight but those ten pounds wouldn't budge. I struggled with vomiting almost 1 meal a day, But I was happy and would do anything to be thin. Then one day I couldn't eat not even half of my small amount of food. I went to the doctors to find out what was wrong with me. I got an X-ray which confirmed that my band had slipped to the middle of my stomach. I had another surgery to try to fix it or remove it. Unfortunately the doctor couldn't fix it so it was removed. I was very worried that my weight would come back. At first I kept the weight off saying to myself that "I had learned how to stay thin". But a year later the weight started to creep back on. So 2 years later I decided to get the sleeve. My surgery was December 14th this year. Although I don't have a lot of weight to lose it is a struggle or maybe even more of a struggle since I have so little to lose. I sometimes feel like I don't belong since I'm not as big as when I first started. I wish I could meet someone else out there that has a similar story......

I had lapband to sleeve surgery the same day,Dec 14th. I wish you the best. Don't feel like you don't belong. I am sure their is someone else with same story as yours. My band did not slip but I was constantly having problems and having to get adjustments.
