Today was big day!

Reported to hospital at 530am for 730am surgery got weighted in and lost 32lbs on my pre op diet. I was way stoked to say the least. Surgery went well and I woke up with nausea and very loopy. I got to my room at noon and I instantly was up walking Laps to get this gassy feeling out. I've been doing a dozen Laps an hour and feeling really good minus a little discomfort. Pain level is around a 3-4 out of 10. Gonna go watch tv and return texts excited for tomorrow and trying Clear liquids.

Cheers everyone!

Congrats! Keep walking - it will help with the gas and helps with recovery. I walked as much as I could. Best of luck for a speedy recovery!

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement I excited to be a big (weight) loser!

Congratulations Justin! Are you still in the hospital? Sipping and walking are the best things to do. Those gas pains are no joke!

I'am back home sipping all day having zero issues with getting in all my fluids and protein. Just slow and steady like I was told. The Adominal binder they put on me works wonders!

Oh God I loved that thing! Between that and a heating pad I was golden.

congrats!! Glad to hear everything is going well :D

Happy New Year and congratulations!!!!You are on your way...

I e read on here a lot of people pot op having problems with there intake of protein and or liquids. I was sleeved on the 30th and ism having no problems with anything. Today I had 1 and 1/2 cans of cream of chicken soup strained and made with water. I've had 2 and a 1/2 protein shakes about 80grams and been sipping water all day. Not once have I felt nauseas or thrown up. I sip and take everything slow is this normal to have no issues? Am I taking I. Too much food? Just curious.

Congrats that you are doing so well Justin. If you are listening to your Doctors discharge orders and getting in the amount of Protein as ordered, you are doing great! Keep up the great work.
