Officially Sleeved! (Mon 12/21)

Hello Everyone,

I just returned from my 2 night stay at the hospital. I was sleeved on Monday morning and I must say I didn't have any pain or complications. I didn't feel any gas pain. The only thing I've been feeling today is when I place a spoonful of Soup, I don't know if it hurts because I'm full or I'm eating too fast... I still can't distinguish the discomfort... With the Water it's the same thing... I take a few sips of the water from the medicine cups and it starts hurting. Is that being full or my stomach being sensitive? I just made a butternut squash soap with Protein and I can't get more than 2 spoons. Any suggestions?

Thank you! :)

I was only allowed liquids for 2 weeks post-op. Even then, just Water felt uncomfortable, even nauseating. But it passed quickly.

The feeling is both full and being sensitive. Its likely very swollen still so anything is going to seem 'full' to you. Small sips to stay hydrated!

You stomach is most likely very swollen from the surgery. For me it started to open up a bit about the third day after surgery. Up to that point a sip was about all I could manage at one time.
