I don't think I was really prepared mentally for everything. It was hard to break old habits. This time around I know my mistakes and I'm in therapy to help with everything as well.

Hi all!
I had the sleeve done Jan 2013, lost 150lbs and then gained back around 60 of them. Talked to my surgeon and we agreed that my best option at this point would be to revise to the duodenal switch.
I AM super excited about having another second chance but I'm terrified aboutt failing again.
I also am more worried about recovery time because my boss if acting very reluctant to give me a lot of time off(I'll only have 9 months in so I'm not eligible for FMLA). I'm really hoping to only need two weeks off but I know I needed a lot more than that the first time around.
Any advise or stories about recovery? I just want to be optimistic while still being realistic.
Thanks!
