Under clothing question

Do any of you wear things like corsets or shapewear to help smooth out the excess skin? I am starting to save some money for new clothes cuz I know I'm gonna need it and I wonder if this is something that I need to look in to.

I don't wear shapewear regularly. Too many memories of my mom squeezing me into some girdle type thing as a kid/teen. Wearing that stuff just brings back memories of feeling ashamed of my body.

I have one piece, a tank type piece I'll use under certain tops, but it rarely sees the light of day.

I just recently ordered a latex waist cincher, it holds all the loose skin/flabby tummy in tight and smooth. I'd totally recommend it. It's awesome to have something that shapes you incredibly and you don't have to pull up and down to use the bathroom.

Before my tummy tuck I was seldom without spanx to hold on my excess tummy skin.
