In PAIN

I am 3 days post op (sleeve) and have horrible pain on my left side. Nothing helps it. Can someone please give me some advice? Not too hungry just some juice n some broth had some apple sauce (BAD IDEA) I also have really bad radiating pain on my IV site arm

I've been using an ice pack and holding pressure on it with it....its been a life saver. Mine still killing me too. Hope you feel better soon!

Thank you. The pain is getting a little bearable. Is your left bottom incision the one that hurts the Most.?

Yep that's the one! Today's been better. No pain meds yet. Trying to grin and bear it. It's also the first day I've been able to get all my fluids and protein in. :) still sore but bearable.

I know I'm late on thgis discussion but I'm only posting in regard to the previosu post by @@treblecutie23

I was told, for the duration of my hospital stay as well as my home based recovery, "Don't be a hero when it comes to pain relief!"

So, assuming that the situation is similar, don't "grin and bear it"...

Get some relief...

That's what pain meds are for!!

Good job on the Fluid and Protein tho...
