Talk to your doctor about increasing your dosage or switching to a stronger med.

Hello! I am new to the group. I had my sleeve on Tuesday 27th. I'm having a very bad time too. I thought I was the only one out there. I can barely put down liquids from the gas and reflux I have been so nauseous and I threw up several times from it. I am on two doses now of Prilosec and zofran. I finally just got in 12 oz water, 2 oz of jello and 2 oz pudding. That is all I could do today.

Raise the head of your bed on a couple blocks, or use extra pillows or a wedge pillow. That can help you sleep in addition to the PPI's, which are often prescribed twice a day. Check with your surgeon about increasing the dose.

Thanks heaps guys! I appreciate the feedback.. I'll go see my doc soon. I've read that PPIs can take 4 to 7 days to work.. so maybe I'll hold up 3 more days
