Hi, New member here. I would love to hear from former band patients who have converted to sleeve, especially those who had no real loss with the band. I would also like to know how long it was before you returned to work? With my band surgery, I was out and about the next day. I know this is a much bigger surgery though. I'm really scared of the possibility of another failed attempt and the thought of wasting money again. Any advice?

I haven't had surgery yet so I'll let someone else chime in with recovery as it varies, but I would encourage you to look at the reasons the band didnt work for you. It doesn't work for everyone, but if the reasons include behavioral issues on your part then you have to ask yourself if it's behaviour you would repeat with the sleeve. A tool will only work if you use the way it's intended to be used.
