Post op 2 days

Whew guys, what a world wind the last couple of days have been. I got through the surgery but the toughest part is the gas pains. It was really bad on surgery day after surgery and it was so bad I stayed a extra day in the hospital and am now home. I am finding it difficult to sip all the time as I seem full. I am burping and passing gas the other way so I seem to be doing fine in that department. I hear my stomach making noises all the time though... Is that normal?

I can't answer your questions because I haven't had the surgery yet. However, I just wanted to chime in and congratulate you on making this first step towards a wonderful future. Be proud of yourself. My surgery is on 23 Nov, so by then you can hold my hand and encourage me through the highs and lows. I am praying that you have already been through your worse day!

I'm 3 days post op and I feel you on these gas pains. My stomach makes these weird gurgling noises as well....all the time!

I'm 4 months out. I still have the strange noises in my stomach. I kid around and say it sounds like an alien in there! But everything is fine. I'm down 70 lbs. So I am not complaining. No problems and nothing hurts. All my check ups have been fine! I'm so happy I did this!! I was wondering if I wasn't taking small enough sips or if I was getting air in my stomach??
