  1. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JREK09G?keywords=bariatric%20vitamins&m=A2HFBSEA6KL9W7&qid=1450295974&ref_=sr_rp_1&sr=sr-1 Just started with this. Seems to be working for me and only have to take one a day.
  2. Just looking for info on what everybody's using to fulfill the daily 1500 mg requirement. I've been using the celebrate chewables. I got the ok to start using capsules. Trying to save a few bucks as well. Thanks for the info.
  3. I'm in SoCal and did the options class at Kaiser in Carson. I had my surgery on 10/28/15. The options class was helpful and very informative. As long as you already have the referral to the options program you should be already approved for surgery as long as you meet your pre surgery weight loss goal. The surgeons have the option to put off your surgery until you lose the required weight. During the 12 classes you will get weighed in at the beginning of class. Hope this helps. If you're in the SoCal area let me know. I'd be glad to exchange numbers and information.
  4. Yep bad breath due to the ketogenic diet. " ketosis breath". I just carry the listerine strips every where I go and brush whenever I can.
  5. Walmart... 9.99 for a new belt will fix the problem. Hahaha. Congrats on the cont'd weight loss.
  6. Start of pre op diet and classes I was at 267 type 2 diabetes and cholesterol meds. Day of surgery 216 and my surgeon strongly encouraged me to still have the rny surgery. He said that it would be the best for me long term. 19 days post op off all meds and just hit Onederland on the scale 198.00. No regrets here.
  7. What works for me is working out first thing in the morning after getting up. I find my energy levels are at my highest at this time. I agree with the other posters about meeting protein and fluid levels.
  8. Are you still supplementing in between those 3 meals with shakes to reach daily protein goals?
  9. Just had my first post op appointment and Dr moved me into the puréed stage diet. My question is how many times a day are you eating?
  10. 5 days post op.... Success! First bowel movement. Thanks for all the support. ????
  11. Where can I find the unjury chicken soup?
  12. Yes dehydration will cause the nausea. Stay hydrated and try to reach your NUT recommend daily fluid intake. I'm at 64 fluid oz and 60 grams of protein.
  13. I had the same problem. I started mixing isopure zero carb ready to drink clear protein shakes with water. I'm also using protein20 mixed with water. This seems to be working for me with my protein and fluid intake. I can text you some pictures if you'd like. I'm 5 days post op.
  14. Same here has surgery on the 28th. Just keeping sipping all day long.
  15. I'm 2 days out and experiencing the same gas issues. Been sipping on liquids all day and working on my protein shake.
  16. I'm on a nightly stool softener. I haven't been taking any main meds. I guess I have a high tolerance for pain.
  17. Thanks for the responses. You guys are awesome.
  18. 3 days out and have passed gas. How many days typically after surgery is bowel movement expected?
  19. Thanks. Feeling better. It seems like once they pulled the drain tube the nausea subsided. Thanks again for the well wishes.
  20. 2nd day after surgery. Surgeon just came in and cleared me to go home today. Still feeling a little nauseous from the anesthesia.
