Check with your insurance company to find out what your coverage for bariatric surgery is and what their requirements for approval are. I had to have 6 visits with my doctor/nutritionist and my doctor also required me to have an endoscopy, my surgeons office took care of absolutely everything. They set up all of my appointments in advance and basically just told me where I needed to be and when.
