Consult today, surgery in 2 weeks!

Hi, I went to the doc's office today for my consult and we scheduled surgery for Monday, July 30th. I am so excited! They have me on the Sugar Busters Diet until the day of surgery.

I am self pay. Our insurance has an exclusion on bariatric surgery. Also, I do not have high blood pressure, diabetes or sleep apnea, YET! I know I am headed in that direction though if I do not get this taken care of.

Yes, the price is $17,400 and that includes everything, the pre-op, the hospital, doctor's fees and all fills. I know it is a lot of money, but it will be worth it.

Well, that's AWESOME! If I have to self-pay, it'll be the same for me... and I would find the money! I believe in this! I'm just getting started... there is no "exclusion" in my policy, that I know of... so I have a "fighting chance!"

I'm glad they gave you an inclusive price so you don't end up being nickled and dimed to pieces! My best-best-best to you!

Katie
