I have a fear that I will have gone through this whole 6 month process only to get denied!! What if I get denied? I have pretty much stopped living life and have just been WAITING to live after surgery. Is this making sense? I know I shouldn't put all of my eggs in one basket and look at the possibility of getting denied and if I do, I don't have a plan B. I don't know, I think all this waiting is driving me batty!!

I felt the same way. All this time. I swear my anxiety was at an all time high waiting for the insurance to approve me. I called every other day. But I got the call and it made everything I had been doing worth it. Wish you nothing but the best!!

What does your insurance require? If you meet the criteria, you will get approved.

In that case, I should be okay, I guess it's just the fear of the unknown setting in. I've come this far and the waiting is killing me.

Thank you! I appreciate you "talking me off the ledge"! I'm just ready to be on the other side!!

Cutepretty1- I'm in Memphis. Who's your doc? When are you having it? Stay in touch!

Yippie!!! Dr. Wegner on December 8. Who's your doc and when is yours?

As of today everything is done and I hope it will be sent up to insurance early next week. Going to try and wait not too impatiently. Good thing my insurance company had a reputation of replying within a few days

@@Nikke25, have you heard anything yet? It has been super quiet here and I'm on pins & needles just waiting and wanting to hear something!

Yes. Thanks for checking. My hospital called me Monday saying they needed additional bloodwork. Just faced them the results today that were all normal. Hospital insurance said that was all they needed so hopefully they can send it to insurance.

Nashville. Dr. Houston at Centennial is the man and his support staff are phenomenal. I had the sleeve 7/13/15 and hit the ground running. Zero complications and down 99lbs since surgery, 174 for the year so far. I was THE WORST naysayer and was sure I'd regret it, but have had a great experience and stuck it on my employers insurance, so double win for me!
