  • I will be honest, I was scared but the thought of death was scarier. The only regret is that I didn't do it sooner but I would do it again. I am 9 month's out and the surgery saved my life.

  • Having the surgery, never. Not having the surgery years back, yes.

  • You might find some people immediately post-op that are regretting their decisions, but after those first weeks, those with regrets seem to be a very small percentage of the population on this forum.

I'm so glad to hear it gets, better!

I'm just a little over 2 weeks. And I have had many regrets and wondered the same thing. Have I made an irreversible mistake !

But then it'll pass and am glad I did it.

But I still really wish I could have done it on my own tho.

I think we all wish we could've done it on our own. But sometimes God has other plans for us. Now we all have the chance to get and stay healthy for the rest of our lives. No more yoyos for any of us. Good luck.

December 10th will be my 6 month "surgerversay" I'm 119lbs down, and 75 lbs to go, my weight loss has really slowed now and I've already had 2 stalls, but instead of regretting anything I am concentrating on getting my proteins in again and I've amped up my weight training, I've been really sick this past week and the only thing that helped was Spite or 7UP, last night my wife reminded me that I had drank atleast one the past 6 days, I never realized and remembered that the reason I got this surgery was because I never had a problem following my diet, I would forget and fall back on old habits, without wasting a second I replied "your right, sh**, thanks for telling me" what is my regret??? Don't know, I have yet to think of one........
