Sleeved 10/12/15!

  • Popular Post

Well, after almost a year of waiting, I was finally sleeved yesterday! Because I have sleep apnea I had to stay one night in the surgical center and am home today.

I am surprised at how good and normal I feel! Certainly there is pain, but not what I was expecting. I can drink Water and Isopure with ease and am going to have some powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury chicken broth later today.

i want to give a big thank you to this forum and all the post-op folks that have taken time to answer questions and tell their own stories!

Feeling super excited and positive, I cant wait for these first few weeks to pass!

Thanks everyone!!

I was sleeved on August 17th. I started my journey at 227 lbs. I am now 176 lbs. just two months post op. I walk six miles a day. My clothes do not fit. I need to buy a winter coat because none that I have fit me. Way too big. I have lost 51 lbs so far. I want to keep going. I'm loving the new me. I am so happy I made the right decision in going through with the surgery. I did my first selfie photo last weekend in the fitting room. I get compliments everyday. I work hard at my diet and exercise. My confidence level has been building up. I just love ME. Thank you for all the support and advice that I have received on this forum. Good luck to everyone. God bless. Speedy recovery.
