Hello

Looking for advice and any tips anyone is willing to give. I'm post op 10/7/15 and would appreciate any tips or advice or even a friend going thru this journey themselves.

I just gave someone else this advise but it really helped me because I love to go out to eat, order Soup. I usually call ahead to see what kind they have but it worked for me to feel normal during the first month

Ok jist checking

It was funny, two weeks post op I had to do a presentation and work with a top tier US Presidential Candidate. I was sitting next to his wife at the dinner. It was odd working with the hotel staff to make sure the ONLY thing that came to me was SOUP. So yes calling ahead, Google the menu helps.

I'm 12 days post op and had my first weigh in since surgery on Saturday 10/17 (10 days post op) and I'm down 14lbs. I wasn't happy at first but I realize that I need to learn to appreciate any weight loss and need to quit letting the scale intimidate me or make me feel bad.

I am more than a number and that number does not define me!

I think that is a great weight loss. Great job. Keep it up.

I am also 12 days post-op and I seem to be losing 1 lb. every two days now which is fine with me.

I know a stall is looming. But since June I have lost 40 lbs., so I am ok with slow and steady.
