I had my sleeve done on September 14th. I took Percocet for a few days following my procedure. I was pretty much fine. Yesterday when I stood up from my desk at work I got this sharp pain in my abdomen. It went away in about an hour. Is this something I should be concerned about?

I had lingering gas pain for about a month after my surgery. If it went away I wouldn't worry about it but you could always check in with your doctor just to make sure :-)

I had lingering pain up until about a week ago in my left abdomen. It was sometimes very sharp. (Surgery date of 8/31.) I asked about it and was told that it was the side that did all of the "heavy lifting" during the surgery - largest incision, where the stomach portion came out, etc. and that it wasn't unusual. But I agree with twinhappy - don't be afraid to call your doc or the nurse and ask! I think they'd rather you do that and be sure than be worried!
