New day, new start. It's great that we can do that :D

So, I am almost a year out and I took my son to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch. I know I can't eat anything fried. I know I cannot eat anything that has too much spice because it will cause instant heartburn that won't go away for HOURS. I ordered a salad and I ordered the naked chicken - I had a bit of the salad and a piece of the chicken. Without even thinking, I grabbed a fried pickle and then another and yet another.

20 minutes later I was standing on the side of the highway getting sick to my stomach. My poor son was mortified. Humiliating because I know better and because he had to witness me getting sick.

However, I do firmly believe that I deserved it. I have fought a long hard battle and I have lost 100 pounds. I have never been healthier. I have never been in better physical shape since I am walking about 7 miles every day. I know what my body likes and can tolerate.

Oh - and my son has sworn off fried pickles so maybe this was a win after all.....
