  1. Being a diabetic before surgery, I was told clear Rum is the best for calories and carbs, and I generally drink it with Crystal Light. Be very careful and be safe when drinking, as it affects you differently than before surgery.
  2. SO I learned a valuable lesson last night, I cant apparently eat a chicken breast over a half hour sitting. And KFC so does NOT agree with me!! I was up all night sick to my stomach!! So glad today is a new day!! And definitely learned my lesson!!

  4. Hi everyone!! Hope everyone is doing well?? I will be 6 weeks out from surgery on July 14, and I am finding that I am bruising very easily. I have bruises that I have no idea where they came from. Has anyone else experienced this? Something may be I should let my doctor know before I see him on Monday, just in case they need to do blood work?
  5. How are all the June 2 sleevers doing now almost 3 weeks out? Im feeling great!! I feel so blessed to have no complications, no nausea or vomitting, just a bit of heartburn, but started to take the Prilosec the doctor prescribed. And still a bit of pain, kind of like a pulled muscle feeling where they took my stomach out. Hows everyone else doing? Getting your protein in? Fluids in? Walking? Ready to do more??

  10. Hi I was sleeved June 2 so 4 day post op, and where they cut my abdominal muscle to remove the stomach is extremely swollen. It looks like a softball on my belly, and extremely painful. Is this normal? Anything I can do??
  11. So I had surgery June 2 and after trying to find a 24 hr pharmacy I finally made it home last night! I have an amazing surgeon that prayed with me before going in, which touched my heart! Doing great so far, thankfully no nausea, just some gas pain that walking is helping with. The incision into my muscle is what is hurting the most though. So just taking it one day at a time!
  12. Only 2 days to go! Starting the all liquids today!! So ready for it to be done!! Can't wait!#

  14. I just got my Pre-Op instructions for my surgery on Tuesday June 2, and I was told it was ok to shower regularly the morning or evening before, and was told that it was ok to wear deodorant the day of surgery. Just no lotions or perfumes. Is it maybe surgeons preference??

  18. Hi I'm am scheduled for surgery June 2 and am on my 5th day of my pre-op diet and doing really well. The only problem I'm having, is with the protein shakes and the 64 oz of water every day I am having to pee all the time!! Like every 15-20 minutes I've gotta pee so bad my eyes water!
