Hi all-

I am on post op day #3. I feel pretty good except the bloating/feeling of gas that won't go away- in my abdominal cavity. It is annoying and a bit uncomfortable.

I have had almost no pain and would this feeling to go away too! I try walking and just started using a heating pad for comfort. I know it takes time I just wonder how long!

I think mostly gone at 5 days. Have you tried Gas-X strips? They really do help some of the gas.

The gas from surgery takes a few days to go away. I used some gas x and waking. But you will always deal with gas pains from here on out. Everything was clipped and flipped around so the chances of gas pains being a regular thing, are pretty high.
