I am 3 1/2 weeks out from Gastric Bypass and am having terrible pain all around the large incision. I would of thought by now I would be pain free. By the end of the day it is almost unbearable! Does anyone else have this issue?

I'm 5 months post-op and still have a little pain/tenderness by one of my incisions. At first it was completely numb.

@@portiv, I have pain in the left incision that was the largest. Sometimes when I sneeze or get in/out of bed it hurts. I'm planning on asking about it at my appointment next Monday. I imagine it's to be expected. I have to remind myself this was major surgery after all! Part of me is just anxious that something else could be wrong.

Let me know what your Dr says @Madtownsunshine17. I just feel like I shouldn't be as sore as I am. How long has it been since your surgery?

@@portiv I'm going to be 6 weeks Thursday! I'll let you know what I found out on Monday. Of course, you should be in contact with your team too if it's bothersome for you!!
