4 months post-op, and stuck!

Hi all,

I'm just looking for a little support on here..

I had my Lap-Band on the 5th May 2015 and so far have lost around 32lbs - (rubbish I know)!!!

I'm really struggling now with my weight loss, it seems to have come to a stop? I'm following my diet plan religiously and going to the gym 4 times a week. I've had 2 fills already, currently have 4mls in my band. I really just don't know what to do for the best, I can't get to see my surgeon until October so worried that he will pick up on my little weight loss and think I'm not giving it my all.

Can anyone help?

Laura

xx

I stalled at the 4 month mark for about 8 weeks! AND that was despite doing everything right - low carb, high Protein, high fibre, no junk, loads of Water....

You are stuck at 32 lbs gone... I was stuck at 40 pounds. Same thing, really...! (And not rubbish at all - great job!!!)

As you will read on this forum, stalls are normal. Just trust in the process and stick to the plan and the needle WILL start to move again!

To make you all feel better mine was on April. 1rst fill .5 started on May then none until July another .5 then starting in August I've been getting .5 biweekly I'm just feeling the diff where I have just lost additional 4 pounds. I do work out consistently

This last was only .3 I was the lowest weight for wls. Dr was being very careful with me.

Keep it up. Choose right choose protein first eat green leafy veggies and sweet potatoe who is my fav carb choice
